Some times, a garden that has a great design at first will become intrusive when plants reach their full height. That was the case in this lovely backyard garden in Brooklyn, where two arborvitaes had completely cut off the owners from the rest of their backyard space. We removed the beds, made new curves to line existing beds, and expanded the existing terrace. Finding matching stones was no easy task, but we feel really happy with the way this turned out. We can’t tell the difference from the stones lined 10 years ago and this Spring.

Sorry, no ‘before’ photo this time!
